Preschool Portal, LLC ("Preschool Portal," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you visit preschoolportal.com, create an account, claim or manage a provider profile, purchase a membership, contact us, or otherwise use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Preschool Portal, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, telephone number, and account credentials.
- Business and professional information submitted when claiming or managing a provider profile.
- Licensing, authorization, verification, support, feedback, subscription, transaction, and billing information.
- Documents submitted for the limited purpose of verifying a provider or an applicant's authority.
- Technical information collected through Wix and essential website technologies, including browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, session information, and cookies.
- Your marketing preferences.
Information approved for public display may include a provider's business name, address, telephone number, website, services, hours, program details, permitted photographs, and other authorized business information.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to administer accounts; process and verify profile claims; compare information with public licensing records; create and maintain profiles; process subscriptions; send required service communications; provide support; test and improve the platform; detect misuse; and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
Promotional email requires a separate voluntary opt-in and includes an unsubscribe method. Opting out of marketing does not stop necessary account, payment, verification, security, or legal notices.
3. Provider Verification
Verification may include comparing information with available Florida licensing or public records, calling a publicly listed provider number, and confirming that an applicant works with and is authorized to represent the provider. Verification is not a background check, accreditation, recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee.
4. Verification Documents
Uploaded verification documents are not displayed publicly and are available only to authorized personnel and necessary service providers. They will be deleted after verification is completed or an application is closed unless temporary retention is reasonably necessary for suspected fraud, a dispute, or a legal obligation. We may retain a limited record of what was reviewed, when, the source, and the outcome.
5. Payments
Payments are processed through Wix or its payment providers. Preschool Portal does not directly receive or store complete payment-card numbers. We may receive limited transaction details such as status, amount, date, subscription type, and limited payment-method information.
6. Cookies and Website Technologies
We currently use Wix's built-in cookies, analytics, security features, and related technologies to operate the site, maintain sessions, protect accounts, support checkout, measure performance, and diagnose technical problems. We have not intentionally installed Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel, or a separate advertising tracker. See our Cookie Policy.
7. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information to Wix and vendors that host, secure, maintain, support, or provide website functions; payment and email providers; professional advisers; authorities when required by law; a successor in a business transaction; or another party at your direction or with your consent.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Information approved for a public provider profile will be publicly accessible.
8. Children's Privacy
Accounts and memberships are available only to people who are at least 18 years old. Preschool Portal is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Provider profiles may not include photographs, names, voices, contact details, medical information, or other identifying information concerning a child or anyone under 18. Report suspected child information immediately to customerservice@preschoolportal.com.
9. Data Retention and Security
We retain information only as reasonably necessary to operate services, document verification, maintain transaction and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, enforce agreements, and comply with law. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Your Choices and Requests
You may request access, correction, account deletion, profile updates, or information about our privacy practices by emailing customerservice@preschoolportal.com. We generally process a verified deletion request within 30 days. We may retain limited records required for tax, accounting, payment disputes, fraud prevention, contractual obligations, or law.
11. Third-Party Services
We may link to providers, government resources, physicians, family-support services, and other third parties. We do not control their content, availability, security, or privacy practices.
12. Playdates and Parent Connections
Playdates stores your introduction, first name, city or community, county, children’s age groups, interests, general availability, optional adult photo thumbnail, consent records, requests, connections, blocks, messages, and reports. Your introduction and optional photo are visible to signed-in members. Your account email is not automatically shared. We do not verify participants’ identities or conduct background checks.
Messages are accessible to the accepted participants and authorized site administrators for support and moderation; they are not end-to-end encrypted. Either participant may delete a shared conversation and end the connection. Deleting your Playdates profile removes your introduction, thumbnail, and messages sent or received, while leaving your Wix account and saved items intact. Limited internal connection, block, report, and moderation records may remain to prevent misuse and review concerns. Reports may retain a copy of reported content. 13. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy as our services, practices, or obligations change. We will post the revised policy with an updated effective date and provide additional notice when appropriate or required.

Public Playdates invitations
Parents may separately agree to publish a reviewed invitation card through a shareable link. The card and its preview are public and may include first name, city/county, children’s age groups, invitation text, and optional adult photo. We store the card and a link identifier; account email, friends, requests, and chats are not part of the public preview. Connecting requires sign-in and recipient acceptance before chat. Disabling the link or changing/deleting the introduction prevents further access on Preschool Portal, but copies and previews saved elsewhere may remain.
