These Terms govern your access to and use of preschoolportal.com and services provided by Preschool Portal, LLC ("Preschool Portal," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the website, creating an account, claiming or managing a profile, or purchasing or accepting a membership, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
1. About Preschool Portal
Everything Parents Need-from Birth to Age Five.
A trusted parent-guidance platform offering expert-informed information, practical tools, and local resources to help families understand and know what to do next.
Preschool Portal may provide educational content and informational listings concerning childcare providers, physicians, and family-support services.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, become a member, claim or manage a profile, or submit information. You must provide accurate information, protect your credentials, use your account lawfully, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. If acting for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
3. Educational Information
Content is for general educational and informational purposes and is not individualized medical, developmental, psychological, legal, financial, licensing, regulatory, or other professional advice. Use does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. Consult an appropriately qualified professional and contact emergency services when immediate assistance is required.
4. Informational Profiles
Provider profiles are informational only. Preschool Portal does not rate, rank, recommend, employ, supervise, control, guarantee, or endorse listed providers, physicians, practices, or services. Profiles may become outdated. Families must independently confirm licensing, credentials, availability, prices, policies, practices, services, and suitability. Preschool Portal does not currently provide public provider reviews, ratings, or comments.
5. Verification
Verification may include comparing information with public records, calling a publicly listed number, and confirming that an applicant works with and may represent a provider. Verification reflects information reasonably available on the review date. It is not a background check, accreditation, endorsement, recommendation, or continuing guarantee.
6. Provider Responsibilities
Providers and representatives must submit truthful and current information, possess authority to manage the profile, update material changes, cooperate with verification, comply with applicable requirements, avoid misleading claims, and respect intellectual-property, privacy, and publicity rights.
7. Children and Photographs
Profiles may not include children or anyone under 18 in photographs, video, audio, or other media. Users may not submit a minor's name, contact information, image, voice, medical or developmental information, location, schedule, or other identifying information. Staff photographs may show adults only, with permission from every identifiable adult.
8. User Content
You retain ownership of content you lawfully submit. You grant Preschool Portal a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and use it as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the platform, display the profile, adapt content to devices, and provide requested services. You represent that you own the content or have all necessary permissions.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the service unlawfully or deceptively; impersonate another person; falsely claim authority; submit false, infringing, defamatory, discriminatory, or misleading information; upload malware; interfere with security; access another account; scrape or harvest data; send spam; submit prohibited child information; circumvent payment or verification; or imply an unauthorized Preschool Portal endorsement.
10. Memberships, Renewal, Cancellation, and Refunds
New provider profiles are currently free, with no payment information required. Free enrollment does not authorize future charges. If paid options are introduced, pricing and terms will be disclosed and providers may choose whether to enroll. For a separately authorized paid membership, fees and terms are disclosed at checkout, and annual memberships automatically renew unless canceled before renewal. Wix or its payment providers process payments. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and access generally continues through the current term. Charges are nonrefundable except for duplicates, confirmed billing errors, when required by law, or when we agree otherwise in writing. See our Subscription, Cancellation, and Refund Policy.
11. Communications
We may send transactional emails necessary for accounts, applications, verification, membership, payments, renewals, cancellation, security, and legal notices. Marketing email requires a separate voluntary opt-in.
12. Third-Party Services
We may link to or rely on Wix, payment processors, government sources, providers, physicians, and other services. We do not control or accept responsibility for third-party content, accuracy, availability, products, security, terms, or privacy practices. Transactions and disputes with third parties are solely between those parties.
13. Intellectual Property
The website, name, logo, design, original text, graphics, organization, software, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Preschool Portal and protected by law. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit protected content without permission. Report suspected infringement to customerservice@preschoolportal.com.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account, application, membership, or profile for policy violations, false or unauthorized information, nonpayment, unlawful conduct, or material legal, privacy, security, reputational, or safety risks. Serious or repeated violations may require immediate action.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete or current information, a particular result, or that a provider will meet a user's needs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Preschool Portal and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages connected with use of the site, reliance on information, third-party conduct, unauthorized access, interruptions, errors, or data loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
16. Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Preschool Portal, LLC and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable expenses arising from your content, provider profile or services, policy or legal violations, infringement, or unauthorized representation.
17. Changes
We may change features or these Terms as the platform develops. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised effective date, with additional notice for material changes when appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance except where law requires another form of consent.
18. Florida Law and Disputes
Florida law governs these Terms. Before filing a claim, both sides agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally through customerservice@preschoolportal.com. Unresolved disputes will be handled in an appropriate state or federal court serving Pinellas County, Florida, unless law requires otherwise.
19. General Terms and Contact
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign your account or rights without permission. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable additional terms form the agreement concerning the services.
