This policy explains how Preschool Portal, LLC manages provider listings, profile claims, verification, updates, and removals.
1. Purpose
Profiles help families learn about local providers and services. A listing does not mean Preschool Portal employs, supervises, recommends, ranks, guarantees, or endorses the provider. Families must independently confirm licensing, qualifications, availability, pricing, policies, services, and suitability.
2. Who May Claim a Profile
A claimant must be at least 18, currently work for or own the provider, be authorized to represent it, use their own account, submit accurate information, and cooperate with verification. Authority may not be transferred without approval.
3. Verification Process
We may compare information with Florida licensing or public records, call a publicly listed provider number, ask for the applicant, and confirm employment and authority. We generally make up to three reasonable contact attempts over five business days. If we cannot complete verification, we may close the application as "Unable to Verify." A provider may apply again later.
4. Changes in Representatives
If an applicant no longer works for or represents the provider, their claim will not be approved. We record only that they are no longer authorized and do not request the reason employment ended. A current director, owner, administrator, or authorized representative may submit a new claim through their own account.
5. Meaning of Verified
"Verified" means we completed the limited process above using information reasonably available on the verification date. It is not a background check, accreditation, recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of quality, safety, availability, licensing status, future compliance, or suitability.
6. Provider Responsibilities
Providers must keep profiles accurate, report material changes, avoid misleading claims, maintain required licenses and approvals, respond to material accuracy concerns, and follow our policies and law. We may request reverification periodically or after a material change.
7. Photographs and Child Information
Profile media may not show children or anyone under 18. Profiles may not contain a minor's name, contact information, image, voice, medical or developmental information, location, schedule, or other identifying information. Adult staff may be shown only with permission.
8. Verification Documents
Documents are used only for verification and related fraud prevention, are not displayed publicly, and are restricted to authorized personnel and necessary service providers. They are deleted after verification or closure unless temporary retention is reasonably necessary for suspected fraud, a dispute, or law. We may retain a limited review record.
9. Corrections, Suspension, and Removal
We may correct, label, restrict, suspend, or remove a profile if information is inaccurate, outdated, misleading, unauthorized, unverifiable, prohibited, or linked to an inactive or materially changed license; if the provider does not address a material concern; or if action is reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, or Preschool Portal.
10. Enrollment and Verification Questions
Request a correction, update, reverification, or review at enrollment@preschoolportal.com. We review reasonable requests in good faith, but submission does not guarantee approval.
